My Hope Radio: In three or four sentences, how would you describe your journey of faith?
Greg Hurley: I have been blessed to have been raised in a Pentecostal home with generations of Pentecost as my background. I have had awesome experiences as God has led the way for me. If it wasn’t for Him, I don’t know where I’d be.
MHR: What is your favorite Scripture in the Bible?
GH: Psalm 91:1, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
MHR: What is your music background? (Who influenced you, when did you start singing, etc…)
GH: I started singing in church when I was three years old. I come from a family of singers. I’ve sang with my sisters in church for years. Our parents have always been a constant encouragement. I’ve recorded albums as a group, but the past three years I’ve recorded solo projects.
MHR: What specific themes do you cover in your songs? Why?
GH: I use songs that talk about the Cross alot in my projects. I love worship songs too. I like to direct people to the Cross because that’s where it all starts and our help for everything in our lives.
MHR: Do you write your own songs? (If so, discuss your usual songwriting process.)
GH: I have written songs but none of the ones on my projects.
MHR: Where can we listen, purchase, and connect with you?
GH: greghurleyministries.com
